KOLKATA, MARCH 10. India's Sunil Kumar Sipaeya has given the pride of place in the $10,000 ITF Futures tournament beginning at the South Club courts here on Monday. The tournament, sponsored by ONGC, is the first of the three men's Future's events in the country. Chennai and Bangalore will host the other two tournaments. Apart from Sipaeya, the other Indians who made it directly to the main draw are: Vijay Kannan, Vishal Uppal, Ajay Ramaswami, Rohan Bopanna and the promising Karan Rastogi. The main draw of 32 will have 18 direct entries, four wild cards, two special exempts, while eight players will be moving up from the qualifiers to be played on Friday and Saturday. Second-seeded Aqeel Khan of Pakistan (rank 376) is the highest-ranked foreigner in the fray. Our Sports Reporter
