Applications for ECBs, FCCBs

MUMBAI, MARCH 10. The Reserve Bank of India received 52 proposals in January from corporates, including Reliance Industries, Tata Chemicals and Royal Airways, to raise funds from the overseas market for business plans. Reliance had lined up External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) issues of $136.05 million and $16 million respectively for importing capital goods, according to RBI data on ECBs released here today.
