Naxalites kill tribal

WARANGAL, MARCH 10. Naxalites, belonging to Janashakthi group, shot dead a tribal late last night at Timmampeta village of Mangapet mandal here.

Four naxalites, led by Janashakthi Eturunagaram area committee secretary Kiran, reached the Narasimhlupeta village and woke up one Jigata Ganganna (35) and beat him up severely. Later, he was brought to Timmampeta village and tied him to a tree and shot him dead.

The naxalites left a slip at the site branding him as a police informer.

Axed to death

NALGONDA: An alleged action team of Maoists axed a person, Bomma China Venkatesham (35), to death in broad daylight in his fields at Vadderagudem near Tirumalagiri in Pedda Adisarlapally mandal on Thursday.

Two naxals surrender

NIZAMABAD: Two underground naxalites of the CPI (Maoist) group -- Suseela alias Vimalakka and Ravi -- surrendered before the Yellareddy Circle-Inspector, Javed Jaffer, on Thursday.

Suseela and Ravi belong to Mothe village.
