THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MARCH 10. The KSRTC will introduce new schedules in Nedumangad and Neyyatinkara to solve the problems of commuters, the Transport Minister, N.Sakthan, has said. Replying to questions in the Assembly on Wednesday, Mr. Sakthan told G. Karthikeyan that the Government would not allow private buses to operate on these nationalised routes but the KSRTC would operate more services soon in consultation with the local MLAs. The Minister for Social Welfare V.K. Ebrahim Kunju told K.Mohan Kumar that the managing committee of the Sree Chitra Poor Home has decided to construct a working women's hostel on the 98 cents owned by the home at Kumarapuram junction in Pattom village. But the Department of Social Welfare has not given approval for the project since the home has not got the possession certificate from the village office so far.
