Two killed in road accident

By Our Staff Reporter

BANGALORE, MARCH 10. Kunhipathu (58) and her daughter-in-law, Shameena (25), were killed on the spot when the car in which they were travelling hit a lorry near Kumbalgod between Bidadi and Kengeri on Mysore Road in the early hours of Thursday.

Kunhipathu's son, Shameem, however, escaped with injuries. He was shifted to HOSMAT by the city-based Malabar Muslim Association. Shameem was driving the car when the accident took place.

The victims were on their way to Bangalore, where Shameem had a moulding business. The bodies were subjected to a post-mortem at the Bidadi Government Hospital and taken to their native Vallimadankunnu in Kozhikode district of Kerala by their relatives.
