BANGALORE, MARCH 10. Jet Airways has contributed Rs. 1.28 crores to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund in aid of tsunami victims. The Jet Airways Chairman, Naresh Goyal, contributed, on behalf of Jet Airways, contributed Rs. 50 lakhs to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund immediately after tsunami struck the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. A cheque for Rs. 78.63 lakhs in aid of tsunami victims drawn in favour of Prime Minister's Relief Fund was handed over on Monday to the Prime Minister's office. Additionally, the airline also ferried over 50,000 kilograms of relief cargo dispatched by government agencies and recognised voluntary agencies from different parts of India to the tsunami ravaged Tamil Nadu, Kerala and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
