Good knocks by Raja and Kamal

TIRUCHI, MARCH 11. Good knocks by S. Raja (75) and C. Kamal (55) enabled Ponnagar Cricket Club to score a 71-run win over Campion Cricket Club at the Tiruchi DCA-Indian Bank I division league match held here recently.

The scores: I Division: Reginonal Engineering College 193 for eight (Muthiah 55, Suresh 70) bt MAP CC 107.

Neptune CC 101 lost to Bishop Heber College `B' 105 for three.

Ponnagar CC 207 for five (S. Raja 75, C. Kamal 55) bt Campion CC 136 for six.

III Division: Trichy Medical Representatives CC 153 (Rajkumar 40) lost to Anna Nagar CC 154 for three (K.K.Kamaluddin 41).

Golden Chariot CC `C' 120 for eight (Krishnakumar five for 17) lost to Ordnance Factory Sports Association 124 for two (S.V. Raghavan 56 not out).

IV Division: Golden Chariot CC `B' 157 for six (R. Chinnasamy 45) bt Krish CC 47 (N. Rajasekar six for 3).

V Division: JJ College of Engineering 162 for eight (V. Ashok Kumar 73 not out) bt Rainbow CC 125 (A.S. Prabhakar four for 30).
