New train flagged off

NEW DELHI, MARCH 11. The Railway Minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav, today flagged off Orissa Sampark Kranti Express from New Delhi railway station besides announcing the inauguration of four other Sampark Kranti trains and the Delhi Faizabad Express.

The bi-weekly Orissa Sampark Kranti between Delhi and Bhubaneshwar will commence regular operations from March 15 while the tri-weekly Uttar Pradesh Sampark Kranti between Delhi and Manikpur started its regular operations today.

Similarly, the bi-weekly West Bengal Sampark Kranti between Delhi and Sealdah will start regular operations from March 12, while the bi-weekly Poorvottar Sampark Kranti between Delhi and Guwahati will commence regular operations from March 14. The tri-weekly Madhya Pradesh Sampark Kranti between Delhi and Jabalpur will start operating from March 21.

The bi-weekly Delhi-Faizabad Express will start its regular operations from March 14. The Railway Minister also inaugurated a coolie shelter at the Ajmeri Gate side of New Delhi railway station.
