Partly cloudy

CHENNAI, MARCH 11. The sky will be partly cloudy on Saturday with maximum and minimum temperatures of about 33 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.

On Friday, Nungambakkam had maximum and minimum temperatures of 33.4 and 25.9 degrees Celsius. The corresponding readings at Meenambakkam were 33.6 and 25.5 degrees Celsius. Humidity at the two centres stood at 78 per cent and 79 per cent respectively.

Japanese course

The Indo-Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry will start a regular spoken and written Japanese course on Saturday for students appearing for the level IV of Japanese foundation examination to be held in December. Students may contact the executive secretary at 24352010/24354779.

Book fair

English Edition publishers' on-going 10-day book fair has on display 50,000 books in different categories, including children, art, advertising, computers textiles and feng shui. Medical camp
