TDP charges termed baseless
By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD,
MARCH 13.
Four chairmen of the Government corporations on Sunday criticised the Telugu Desam for `politicising' the issue of mini hydel project near Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme (RDS) anicut and levelling `baseless' allegations against the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
G. Prakash Rao, K. Srisailam Goud, D. Rajeshwar and N. Venkatrami Reddy, chairmen of APSRTC, Andhra Pradesh Police Housing Corporation, Housing Corporation and Andhra Pradesh Rural Irrigation Corporation respectively, in a joint statement charged the TDP with levelling allegations against Dr. Reddy's relatives using RDS.
They expressed surprise at the Telugu Desam deputy floor leader, N. Janardhan Reddy, making a row over the RDS. They said it was surprising why Dr. Reddy was silent about building of the power plant at RDS which was approved in 2003 during the TDP regime.
