Chevrolet celebrates anniversary
The Delhi rally was flagged off on Sunday morning by Aditya Vij, President and Managing Director of General Motors India, from the Car Care Centre on Lodhi Road. "Looking at the success of the Chevrolet in India, I am confident it will substantiate GMs impetus to consolidate its presence in the Indian market and the Asian region. We intend to make Chevrolet the most admired and preferred automotive brand in India," said Mr. Vij. Selected through a draw of lots from Chevrolet customers in the National Capital Region, the 50 finalists in their Chevies wended their way though the rally route towards Gurgaon. All participants then proceeded to Wet-N-Wild resort, Manesar for a gala time with a sumptuous lunch and lively entertainment including performances by "Joshilay", a renowned music troupe, and unending fun and games for the participants and their families.
`Education city' for Haryana
Speaking at the closing session of the International Jat Intellectual Meet in the Capital, Mr. Hooda said 25 per cent seats in the institutes at the education city would be reserved for the students of Haryana.
Designer jewellery launched

Lal Advani remembered
Despite being visually challenged, Mr. Advani worked for the welfare of the blind and other disabled people. He served as the joint secretary in the Ministry of Social Welfare besides working as the Director of the National Institute for Visually Handicapped in Dehra Dun. He has also been the secretary of the Asian Blind Union. He also received many national as well as international honours.
JNU students stage march
