Delimitation panel to prepare draft working paper

CHENNAI,
MARCH 14.
The Delimitation Commission at its meeting on Saturday decided that the delimitation exercise in Tamil Nadu would be carried out keeping the gram panchayat as the lowest administrative unit.
According to an official release, the commission would prepare a draft working paper which would be circulated to the State Election Commission, and to 10 Associate members from Tamil Nadu for their views. Thereafter, public hearings would also be conducted at a few places in the State to elicit the views of the public.
