NEW DELHI, MARCH 14. A major fire broke out in a cardboard godown at Kirti Nagar in West Delhi today. The fire fighting operations were on till late tonight. Nobody was injured in the incident. According to a fire department spokesperson, the fire broke out around 1 p.m. At least 30 fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames. The firemen were successful in preventing the blaze from spreading to the adjacent warehouses. A police officer said nobody was present in the godown when the fire broke out. The police said the reason for the fire was not immediately clear.
