Sir, The aim of the re-enactment of the Dandi March by the Congress is not clear. The flock of well-fed, well-clothed politicians can hardly recreate the image of the struggling freedom fighters led by the near naked, starved and impoverished fakir called Gandhi.

* * * Sir, Gandhiji broke the salt law and made the resentment of the common man a formidable weapon against the British rule. But the Congress seems more interested in appropriating the event for its benefit.
