11-member gang held, weapons seized

PONDICHERRY, MARCH 15. The police arrested a 11-member gang and seized sharp-edged weapons and iron pipes near Lawspet road here today.

Police intercepted the gang on a tip off.

Interrogation revealed that the gang was planning to murder Venkatesan of Iyyakuttipalayam.
