Suicide: people demand second post-mortem

MADIKERI, MARCH 15. Trouble broke out in Shanivarasante town of Somwarpet taluk in Kodagu when a group of people demanded that a post- mortem on a woman, who allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday morning, be conducted again.

The group, which claimed that the woman did not commit suicide and alleged that it was a dowry death, wanted the Somwarpet Tahsildar to order a second post-mortem on the body after they suspected foul play in the death.
