SALEM, MARCH 15. A fine century knock by Sridhar helped Dirty Dozen CC score a 31-run win over Students Senior CC in the Indian Bank-SDCA first division league at the Steel Plant grounds here yesterday. In another match, Rothmans Cricket Club edged out Salem Steels Cricket Club by 21 runs.
I Div: Rothmans CC 185 in 36 overs bt Salem Steels 164 in 35.2 overs (K.P. Suresh 54). Dirty Dozen CC 218 for nine in 35 (Sridhar 107, M. Senthil four for 23) bt Students Senior 187 in 34 (Paramasivam four for 28).
II Div: Pals CC 127 for six in 35 overs (Felix 51) lost to Youngstar CC 130 for six in 24 (Shankar 43). Free Birds CC 112 in 37 overs lost to Ravindran Memorial CC 113 for seven in 21 overs. III Div: Parks XI CC 83 in 25 overs (Jagan five for 10) lost to Rock CC 84 for three in 13 overs.
