Four-wkt. win for SBT

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MARCH 15. State Bank of Travancore `B' scored a four-wicket win over Kingpins CC in the Thiruvananthapuram district `B' division cricket league at the Medical College ground here on Tuesday. SBT `B' restricted Kingpins to 176 for eight in its allotted 45 overs. Barring James (74) none of the batsmen could prospers against a steady SBT attack. Suresh was the pick of the bowlers with four for 52.

Half-centuries by N.P. Sandeep (69) and Ashok Issac (53) carried SBT to victory which was achieved in the 31st over for the loss of four wickets.

The scores: Kingpins CC 176 for eight in 45 overs (James 74, Suresh four for 52) lost to SBT `B' 177 for four in 31 overs (N.P. Sandeep 69, Ashok Issac 53).
