By Our Staff Reporter
GUNTUR, MARCH 15. The Guntur police on Tuesday arrested two persons for cheating and impersonation during the Intermediate Mathematics-II (a) paper at Bhanu Junior College at Brundavan Gardens in the city. G. Krihsnamurthy, a degree dropout, tried to take the mathematics paper at the examination centre for his friend G. Sudhakar. The invigilator, Venkateswarlu, detected that the photograph affixed on the hall ticket did not match with his appearance and handed him over to the Pattabhipuram police. Hailing from Ananthapur, Sudhakar was appearing on a compartmental basis at the mathematics paper in which he had failed last year. He chose to bring his friend from the same place to impersonate him, the Sub-Inspector, A. Sreenivasa Rao, said. Cases of cheating and impersonation were booked against them.
