Congress strikes back

The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) dismissed the TDP posers to the UPA chairperson, Sonia Gandhi, on Tuesday as a ridiculous attempt to cover its own failures.

Addressing a press conference, the CLP senior members -- K. Rosaiah and G. Muddukrishnama Naidu -- asked the TDP to explain why it was petitioning Ms. Gandhi for everything when it refused to recognise her stature. This was with reference to the TDP objection to her laying the foundation-stone for the international airport.

"You (TDP) question her locus standi on the one hand and on the other rush to her every minute seeking her intervention in everything. Is it not a reflection on your dichotomy and double standards?" they said.
