Question hour stalled
By Our Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD,
MARCH 15.
Left and TDP members stalled the question hour proceedings for about 20 minutes in the Assembly after the adjournment motions tabled by them on the RTC strike, neglect of Government hospitals and farmers' suicide were disallowed by the Speaker, K.R. Suresh Reddy, on Tuesday.
While the TDP's notice pertained to farmers' suicide, the CPI members tabled the motion on the proposed RTC strike and the CPI(M) on the neglect of Government hospitals. The Chair also disallowed similar notices given by the BJP on agitation of contract labour and the need to renovate school buildings in the Metpalli constituency (Janata Party).
