LUCKNOW, MARCH 15. Five senior lawyers, including an Additional Advocate General, who had been representing the Uttar Pradesh goverment in the Supreme Court have tendered their resignation. A release by the state government quoting State Principal Secretary (Law) Dharamveer Sharma said their resignations were accepted yesterday. All the five -- Additional Advocate General Sunil Gupta and panel counsels Vivek Vishnoi and Jatin Jhaveri and two Advocates on Record Pramod Dayal and Puneet Dutt Tyagi -- were appointed on October 21, 2003. --UNI
