THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MARCH 15 . An amount of Rs. 10 lakhs has reportedly been drawn from the bank account of the State TB Cell by forging the signature of the Health Director, B. Mahila Mani. The Vanchiyoor police have registered a case in this connection. The SI, Crime, P. Balachandran, said the money had been withdrawn on March 7 from the bank's head office branch at Statue Junction. The fraud came to light when accounts were verified on March 14. Several persons, including Health Department and bank officials, have been questioned by the police.
