Fake job racket busted
By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD,
MARCH 16.
A person luring the unemployed with promises of providing jobs abroad was arrested by Task Force (north) officials on Wednesday.
Thirteen fabricated visas, 17 genuine passports of jobseekers and incriminating documents were seized from Khader Basha of Dilsukhnagar, a press release said.
Basha's associate, Paka Venkat Rao, of East Godavari district, was still at large. Inquiries revealed that the duo had sent some women to Gulf countries to work as maids without obtaining the required licence from the Union Labour Ministry.
Basha and Rao had allegedly collected thousands of rupees from unemployed youths.
