State has no role: Rosaiah

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, MACH 16. The Congress has made it clear that the Government has no objection in retaining the name of the former Chief Minister, N. T. Rama Rao, for the existing airport if the people want so.

The Finance Minister, K. Rosaiah, the Chief Whip, Kiran Kumar Reddy, and 12 other MLAs criticised the Telugu Desam Party for disrupting the proceedings of the Assembly on the issue of naming of international airport after Rajiv Gandhi on Wednesday.

He said the existing airport to be used for training and non-commercial purpose could still be named after NTR, if people so wanted.
