HAINAN ISLAND (CHINA), MARCH 17 . India's Amandeep Johl and Harmeet Kahlon shot five-under 67 each to be tied for the 25th spot while four players were in the lead at eight-under 64 on the opening day of the TCL Classic. As many as 140 of the 168 players who started the day shot par or better on the par-72 Yalong Bay Golf Club. Englishman Paul Casey, the Swedish duo of Fredrik Andersson Hed and Johan Edfors, and Chawalit Plaphol of Thailand emerged as joint first round leaders. A stroke behind the four leaders were as many as ten players at seven-under, and other 10 at six-under. Among the other Indians in the fray, Jeev Milkha Singh brought in a card of three-under 69 for a tied 62nd place and Shiv Kapur had a one-under 71 to be tied 110th, while Jyoti Randhawa with a par round was tied 126th. Rahil Gangjee, who finished at one-over 73, was tied 141st. PTI
