Italy honours Navin Chawla

NEW DELHI, MARCH 17. The Union Information and Broadcasting Secretary, Navin B. Chawla, was presented the Mazzini Award by the Italian Ambassador in New Delhi, Antonio Armellini, on Tuesday in recognition of his efforts to forge a new relationship with Italy and strengthening existing bonds.

The award has been instituted by the Italian Government to celebrate the birth bicentenary of the writer and politician, Giuseppe Mazzini.

The award seeks to honour prominent personalities for their work in strengthening cultural links with Italy.
