UDHAGAMANDALAM, MARCH 18. "We don't get demoralised on such issues", said the Commandant, Madras Regimental Centre (MRC), A.K.Arora at Wellington near here today. He was asked by mediapersons to comment on the recent exchanges among members in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly over the role of his soldiers in relief operations in tsunami-affected areas. Pointing out that the soldiers dealt with assignments in a proper frame of mind, he said "we do our best". Whatever the soldiers were asked to do in the affected areas, they did in `full measure' to the best of their ability and complete satisfaction of all. Their work had been appreciated by senior persons in the Army and local officials. Also positive reports had appeared in the local media. Regarding the kind of work done by the soldiers, "the affected people are the best judges", he said.
