BJP padayatra to focus on civic problems

VISAKHAPATNAM, MARCH 18. The three-day padayatra of the city unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to focus local issues and "failure of the Congress Government'' to resolve them, commenced from the Gosha Hospital in the old city on Friday evening.

Problems concerning drinking water, sanitation, roads and drainage were highlighted.

A dharna would be organised on Monday in front of the Collectorate and the State BJP president, N. Indrasena Reddy, would attend the programme, he said.
