Mathrubhumi, Medimix film awards announced

CHENNAI,
MARCH 18.
Kamal's `Perumazhakkalam' bagged 11 awards, including the best film honour, at the sixth Mathrubhumi-Medimix Film Awards - 2004 announced here today.
The award consists of Rs. 1 lakh, a memento and a citation.
Kamal was adjudged the best director (Perumazhakkalam), while the top acting honours went to Dilip (Kathavasheshan) and Meera Jasmine (Perumazhakkalam). The best script was awarded to T.A. Razack for `Perumazhakkalam.' Geetu Mohandas (Akale) and Mammukoya (Perumazhakkalam) were given the best character artiste awards.
Yash and Sanusha shared the best child artiste award for `Kazcha'.
Special jury awards went to director Shyam Prasad and actors Prithvi Raj and Kavya Madhavan.
