VISAKHAPATNAM, MARCH 20. The arrest of four persons allegedly involved in a star hotel-based hi-tech sex racket has revealed that commercial sex workers were brought to the city on a contract basis by the organisers. With the help of a well-knit network, the promoters of the flesh trade reportedly brought sex workers from various places in the State and outside on monthly contract. Informed sources said that while some sex workers were kept in brothels by taking flats/independent houses located in mostly isolated places on rent, others used to entertain their customers in posh hotels. It is also alleged that there is a gang led by a woman based in HB Colony, which finances the operators and arranges bail whenever the sex workers run into trouble.
