Hall ticket row: SSC student's father issues notice

ADILABAD,
MARCH 21.
Arkey Lasmanna of Balajinagar near Sanjay Gandhi Polytechnic, Adilabad, has sought either permission for his son, Naresh, to write the ongoing SSC exam or a compensation of Rs. 2 lakhs for the loss of an academic year of this student of the Government High School No. 2.
He served a legal notice on Monday on the headmaster of the school and the District Education Officer claiming that his son was denied the hall ticket on the grounds of poor attendance percentage. Lasmanna said he accompanied his son on March 16 to the school to claim the hall ticket.
The school staff said it could not be given because he ran short of the required attendance, he added.
