COIMBATORE, MARCH 21. The railway staff, cleaning the coaches of the Lokmanya Tilak Express from Kurla that arrived in Coimbatore early this morning, found the severed head of a rail accident victim stuck beneath one of the coaches. Following this, they alerted the railway police who began investigations to ascertain the identity of the victim. The railway police in Tirupur found the headless body of a youth at one of the railway level crossings near Tirupur. They are referring the case to scientific experts to ascertain whether the head recovered at Coimbatore belonged to the body found at Tirupur.
