SSC exam: chief superintendent suspended
HYDERABAD,
MARCH 21.
A chief superintendent was suspended while three chief superintendents, one departmental officer, 28 invigilators and two clerks were relieved of their duties for negligence of their duties in the ongoing SSC examinations, on Monday. The officials also booked 101 malpractice cases. The paper-II of Third language was conducted on Monday, according to a statement from Director of School Education.
176 booked
Nearly seven lakh students (under the general stream) and over 36, 500 students (under vocational stream) appeared for the Intermediate Public Examination, March 2005, conducted between 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday. A total of 176 students were booked under malpractice for various offences in 1,829 centres.
Earlier in the day, Paul Bhuyan, Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education, has drawn set-II in the draw of lots, according to an official press release.
