BANGALORE, MARCH 21. Air Deccan on Monday announced additional flights in the existing sectors of Delhi-Bangalore, Bangalore-Mumbai, Mumbai-Delhi, Delhi-Mumbai, Mumbai-Bangalore, and Bangalore-Delhi from March 27. The launch of the additional flights will coincide with the introduction of two new Airbus A-320s by the airliner on new sectors. The bookings for new flights will be open till August 31. The tickets on all sectors will be priced at Rs. 500 plus taxes. There will be a minimum of 10,000 seats available, Air Deccan said in a press release. The new flight schedules are Delhi-Bangalore: departure 7.50 a.m., arrival 10.20 a.m.; Bangalore-Mumbai: 10.55 a.m. and 12.40 p.m.; Mumbai-Delhi: 1.10 p.m. and arrival 3 p.m.; Delhi-Mumbai: 1.15 p.m. and 3.15 p.m.; Mumbai-Bangalore: 4.05 p.m. and 5.35 p.m.; Bangalore-Delhi: 6.40 p.m. and 9.20 p.m. The flight schedules for the new sectors are: Hyderabad-Kolkata: 7.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m.; Kolkata-Delhi: 10.25 a.m. and 12.25 p.m.; Kolkata-Hyderabad: 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.; and Delhi-Kolkata: 4.15 p.m. and 6.20 p.m. On the launch of new flights and sectors, Air Deccan's Managing Director, Capt. G.R. Gopinath, said: "I would like to keep increasing the frequency of our flights on the metro routes to enable a passenger to get a flight at the lowest fares any time of the day."
