Raid on sub-registrar office

SALEM, MARCH 22. The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption wing personnel raided the sub-registrar office in Omalur near here on Monday and found an unaccounted sum of Rs. 10,858.80.

They also seized documents from the document writers that indicated payment of money to sub-registrar and other officials.

A case had been registered against the sub-registrar and other officers, sources said.
