Four wkt. win for Golden Chariot

TIRUCHI, MARCH 22. Fine knocks by R. Ganesh (50) and P. Nethaji (43 not out) and good bowling performance by Bobby Cherian (three for 22) enabled Golden Chariot Cricket Club `A' to score a four wicket win over Zephyrs Cricket Club in the Tiruchi District Cricket Association-Indian Bank II division league match here recently.

The scores: II Division: Zephyrs CC 151 (Bobby Cherian three for 22) lost to Golden Chariot CC `A' 152 for six (R. Ganesh 50, P. Nethaji 43 not out).

Golden Arrows CC 162 for nine (G. Prabhu 46, A. John four for 32) lost to Supersonic CC 163 for seven (G. Kumar 46, S. Ravi 65, Balasundaram 30 not out, Rangabashyam three for 22).

III Division: Gifted XI CC 109 (Muralidharan 34, Sasi three for 31) lost to Golden Chariot CC `C' 110 for three (Arun Raj 36).

Associated CC 128 (J. Sathish Kumar 33 not out, Yogesh five for 28) bt National College 120 (Selvaganapathy 51, J. Sathish Kumar seven for 20).

IV Division: Golden Chariot CC 157 for three (R. Selvam 45 not out, R. Karthik 48 not out) bt Saranathan Engineering College 123 (Aravind Arasu 29, R. Selvam four for 37, K. Kannan three for 21).
