CHENNAI, MARCH 22. Isolated rainfall occurred over South Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over North Tamil Nadu.

Dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Shenkottai (Tirunelveli dt.) recorded heavy rainfall of 9 centimetre.

FORECAST (valid until Thursday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over South Tamil Nadu and South Kerala.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over North Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, North Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change.
