Calsoft buys stake in U.S. firm

CHENNAI,
MARCH 23.
California Software Co. has acquired 51 per cent equity in the U.S.-based American HealthNet Inc (AHN). It has acquired the company in an all cash deal for $1 million, according to S. Santhosh, Managing Director, Calsoft.
Addressing a press conference, Mr. Santhosh said AHN provided integrated enterprise software applications to community healthcare organisations. With a growing customer base of over 250 hospitals and clinics, AHN had sales of $ 6.5 million in 2004 and expected $ 8 million sales in 2005.
AHN with its 120 employees would become the subsidiary of Calsoft.
