Antique shop robbery: one held

KOCHI, MARCH 22. The Ernakulam central police arrested one person allegedly involved in the robbery of Rs. 1 lakh worth material from an antique shop at Broadway. Biju, alias `Titanic' Biju, 24, hailing from Nattakam in Kottayam, was arrested during the surveillance drive on trains in connection with the arrest of two persons from Kolkata for various theft cases.

The accused broke into the shop at Broadway on May 5, 2004. He was identified by the policemen travelling in the train near Shoranur and was arrested after he tried to escape.
