South Zone bags title
BANGALORE,
MARCH 22
South Zone bagged the title in the Defence Research and Development Organisation's inter-zonal football championship with a 3-0 victory over Central Zone here on Tuesday.
Dominating the proceedings, South Zone led 1-0 at the break with Edwin George opening the account in the 30th minute. Later in the second session, Dakshinamurthy ( 49th minute) and Mahendra ( 60th) scored and put South Zone on top.
M. D. Aramuvadhan, Director , ADE, gave away the prizes.
