DAVANGERE, MARCH 22. Lokaseva Pratishtana will organise a national-level conference on water resources and environment, "Jalasanchaya-200," in the second week of April. N.T. Manjunath of the pratishtana said in a statement that the conference is aimed at creating awareness among people about the need to conserve water and develop water resources. More than 1,000 delegates, including scientists, researchers and experts on water management, are expected to attend the conference. Documentaries on water and the environment will be screened during the workshop. An exhibition and street plays highlighting the importance of conserving water and natural resources will be held during the two-day conference.
