PATHANAMTHITTA, MARCH 22. The Bharatiya Karshaka Morcha State unit president, P.J. Thomas, has alleged that the Left parties, especially the Communist Party of India (Marxist), have been deceiving people by following a dual policy of supporting `anti-people policies' of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance Government in Parliament and protesting against them outside. Mr. Thomas was inaugurating a siege laid to the Telephone Bhavan here by the Bharatiya Janata Party workers today, protesting against the `anti-people' policies of the Union Government as well as the alleged sidelining of Kerala in development by the Centre. The Bharatiya Janata Party district unit president, A.G. Unnikrishnan, spoke.
