`Bureau pulling' cases: cash reward offered

CHENNAI, MARCH 22. The City Police Commissioner, R. Nataraj, has announced a cash reward for the police team which manages to solve the `bureau pulling' cases in Madipakkam sub-division in the last few months. Mr. Nataraj made the announcement at a meeting with the officers working in the suburban area. A cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh would be given to the team/special party that could trace the offenders, and recover the stolen property.

A total of 61 `bureau pulling' cases remain unsolved in this sub-division alone.
