THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MARCH 22. The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) has demanded the resignation of the Education Minister, E.T. Mohammed Basheer, in connection with the leak of the SSLC geography question paper. The organisation would hold a Secretariat march tomorrow to press this demand. Though there were reports about question paper leaks right from the time the SSLC examinations began, the Government chose not to take such reports seriously. The role of the Pareeksha Bhavan officials and those in the office of the Education Minister in this matter must be probed, the release said. The All India Youth Front and the All India Students Federation have also called for the resignation of the Education Minister. A press note issued here today said the DPI should also be suspended in connection with the question paper leak. These organisations would observe a protest day tomorrow to protest the beating up of AISF activists by the police in different locations. The Association of Kerala Government College Teachers (AKGCT) has called for a comprehensive probe into the question paper leak.
