Marketing The Rising
MUMBAI,
MARCH 23.
The much-awaited The Rising starring Aamir Khan is all set to be marketed through an innovative advertising strategy, the film's co-producer, Bobby Bedi, said.
"We have finalised the marketing strategy of the film. It will be promoted through a unique advertisement campaign," Mr. Bedi said.
One of the most expensive films to be produced in India, it is set in the backdrop of the 1857 mutiny and portrays the life of the freedom fighter, Mangal Pandey, and his British Commander, William Gordon.
Aamir Khan will be seen as Mangal Pandey along with Rani Mukherjee, Amisha Patel and the Hollywood actor, Toby Stephens, in the role of Gordon. — PTI
