Road tax collection for vehicles till April 10

PUDUKOTTAI, MARCH 23. The road tax for two-wheelers and four-wheelers can be paid from March 19 to April 10 at the Regional Transport Office at Pudukottai.

According to an official press release issued here today said the road tax for next year could be paid at the Regional Transport Office.

Those paying annual tax alone could pay the same Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank and in all Sub Treasury offices in the district.

Those paying the tax could pay the amount by producing the registration certificate, insurance and pollution control certificates.

Green Tax

The Green Tax of Rs. 500 for two-wheelers and Rs.1,000 for cars which have completed 15 years could be paid along with this tax.

The payment of lifetime tax would ensure tax concessions.

The tax could be paid without fine before April 10 the release said adding that the tax could be remitted even on Saturdays, the release added.
