KARAIKUDI, MARCH 23. Helped by a dazzling unbeaten 101 by Ashok, Sekkalai Cricket Club posted an emphatic six-wicket victory over Optra Computers Cricket Computers Cricket Club in the Indian Bank-Sivagangai District Cricket Association `B' division league here recently.

The scores (A division):

Sachin Brothers C.C. 63 in 18 overs (Raja four for 19, Senthilnathan four for 22) lost to ACCET C.C. 64 for two in eight overs.

`B' division: Optra Computers C.C. 192 in 30 overs (Saravanan 64, Palaniappan four for 28, Karuppiah four for 27) lost to Sekkalai C.C. 193 for four in 22.5 overs (Ashok 101 not out).

Optra Computers C.C. 178 in 30 overs (Saravanan 59, John paul four for 30) lost to AP Tech WBC Software Lab C.C. 179 for five in 23 overs (John Paul 55, Narayanan 40).

`C' division: Telecom Little Knights C.C. 198 for seven in 30 overs (Krishnan 40, K. Saravanan 41, Neelavannan four for 53) bt CECRI C.C. 161 in 26.3 overs (Murugan four for 26).

Star Birds C.C. 128 in 23 overs lost to Young Blood C.C. 129 for eight in 24.4 overs.

CECRI CC 203 for six in 30 overs (Rajagopal 58) bt Star Birds C.C. 184 for eight in 30 overs (Jaffer 80). Sunlight C.C. 199 for nine in 30 overs (Bharathi 50 not out, Ambigapathy 52, Rajagopal six for 27) bt CECRI C.C. 166 in 28.2 overs.
