Army recruitment rally from April 3

VIJAYAWADA, MARCH 23. An open army recruitment rally is being conducted to enrol eligible candidates from seven districts at the Guntur police parade grounds from April 3 to 11.

The recruiting officer said, in a press release here on Wednesday, that candidates from Guntur, Krishna, Nellore, Prakasam, Anantapur, Cuddapah and Chittoor districts that fall under the Guntur branch of Chennai zone are eligible for recruitment.

A two-day schedule had been prepared for the candidates of various district applying for different categories. The screening of documents would be taken up on the first day and physical test on the second day.

Schedule

The screening of documents and physical test for non-metric candidates who belong to Guntur, Anantapur, Nellore and Cuddapah, applying for soldier tradesman and soldier GD, is on April 3 and 4 respectively. Interested candidates of the remaining three districts should be present to get their documents screened on April 4 and undergo physical test on April 5.

Candidates who passed SSC and applying for soldier GD from mandals of Tenali and Guntur divisions of Guntur district should be present at the grounds for screening documents on April 5 and physical test on April 6. Candidates who passed SSC with over 45 per cent from mandals in Narasaraopet division and Krishna district should be present at the grounds on April 6 and 7, those from Prakasam and Nellore districts on April 7 and 8 and those from Cuddapah, Anantapur and Chittoor districts on April 8 and 9.

Candidates from all the seven districts applying for soldier technical having the eligibility percentage of 50 in intermediate (MPC group) should be present at the venue on April 9 and 10. Candidates from all the seven districts applying for soldier Clk /SKT and nursing assistant with eligibility percentage of 50 in intermediate should be present at the grounds on April 10 and 11.
