Inter Board official faces action

HYDERABAD,
MARCH 23.
The Higher Education Minister, P. Venkateswara Rao, has promised action against an official of the Intermediate Board, who was found responsible for unauthorisedly publishing a second year Intermediate textbook.
Replying to a question raised by the Congress member, Devineni Rajasekhar, during question hour in the Assembly on Wednesday, Mr. Venkateswara Rao admitted that the official, B. G. Prakasha Rao, was found to have published the book without permission. A charge memo was served on the official, who was also a member of the committee constituted to review syllabus. He said criminal action would be initiated against the official after receiving the reply to the charge memo.
